Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026
UK Home Energy(“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit our website or request quotes, and how we use and share it.
Who we are
UK Home Energy is operated by Limely Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08730008). Limely Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us at gavin@ukhomeenergy.co.uk.
Analytics
We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand which pages and tools are most useful. Plausible:
- Does not use cookies.
- Does not collect personal data.
- Does not track you across other websites.
- Records only aggregated, anonymous stats — page views, approximate country, referrer, device type.
Because Plausible collects no personal data, no consent banner is needed and nothing is stored on your device.
When you request a quote
If you use our quote form, we collect the information you provide: title, first and last name, email address, phone number, street address, postcode, the services you’re interested in, your timeframe, and any project details or message you add.
We share this data with:
- LeadsDoWork— our lead-distribution partner, who matches your request to approved installers.
- Approved installers— who receive your contact details so they can call or email you with quotes.
Purpose:to provide you with quotes for the work you’ve requested.
Lawful basis:consent — you actively tick a box on the form agreeing to this before we share anything. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).
We keep a record of your consent (the exact wording you saw and the time you ticked) so we can demonstrate compliance if asked.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer (e.g. Amazon) may set their own cookies when you visit their site — that’s governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
How long we keep your data
Quote enquiries are retained for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-up queries, resolve disputes, and meet record-keeping obligations. After that we delete the record unless we’re legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access— ask us what data we hold about you.
- Erasure— ask us to delete your quote record. Email gavin@ukhomeenergy.co.uk. We’ll remove your record and ask LeadsDoWork to do the same. Installers who already received your details may retain them under their own policies — you can contact them directly to request deletion.
- Rectify— correct anything that’s wrong.
- Withdraw consent— for quote-form data, email us at the address above.
- Complain — to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been breached.
Children’s privacy
This site is aimed at UK homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
